I have always enjoyed art and craft, but until now haven’t done anything with it. Originally I was a kindergarten and primary school teacher and enjoyed art with my pupils.
I have always suffered with a lack of confidence, so although I was occasionally painting, I never showed my work to anyone until recently. I love abstract painting with acrylics, inks and watercolours. I enjoy experimenting with layering colour and texture. Most of my work is size A3 or A4. I include collage in some of my work and design greetings cards. Having always loved art, it is only since lockdown that I have spent more time painting and experimenting and have kept it to myself until today! I have now gained the confidence to show my work and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
