Presenting 'HUMBLE' a life size sculpture by Grahame
HUMBLE, is the beginning of a new direction for me, and a development from the wall sculptures using stiffened material.

I live in Partridge Green, West Sussex with my wife Rosemarie, where I also create my Art in my top floor studio.
We have a Garden Room where I hang some of my Art, and is open for the Art Trail, but it is also used for our Mindful Movement classes, and as I am a messy artists, it is never used to create my art in.
I work extensively in acrylics and a variety of mixed media products, to create vibrant and heavily textured images.
My inspirations arise from a variety of experiences. From long walks in the Sussex countryside or National Trust gardens to a personal engagement in creating jazz music on organ or piano.
The intention is never to reproduce a photo image, but to capture and present an emotion, sensation and question. Much like that of a paradoxical anecdote derived from Kõan of a Zen meditation.
A frequent comment is that my Art is always evolving, and that my creations are always different. 2020 will see the unveiling of a further new venture, in the form of large 3D sculptures utilising textile stiffening.
