I have always been fascinated with anything to do with the natural world, and my art is almost always inspired by it, but with a whimsical twist and a sense of surrealism.
I see magic in the natural world, from new leaf buds unfurling to incredible colours of birds and fish and I try to infuse this magic and wonder into my art.
I primarily work in traditional media, mostly pencil and watercolour, but I am bravely starting to venture out into the world of digital art, using photoshop and procreate.
I have a BA in technical arts and special effects and an MA in children’s book illustration. I work from my studio at home where I live with my partner, our three year old son and our axolotls Neville and Smaug.
