I am a coloured pencil artist, specialising in portraits, both pets and human.
I was raised in South Africa where part of my heart remains, this is reflected in some of my pieces. When I have time, I love to create pieces related to Africa, often the wild animals.
I use a selection of coloured and graphite pencils. They are a convenient, (I care for my two granddaughters daily so this is important), wonderful, albeit time consuming medium, to work with.
I use lightfast paper, pastel mat board and drafting film as drawing surfaces, all of which are archival.
