I am a self taught artist and started working full time producing my quirky sculptures in 2011.
I specialise in the creation of three-dimensional mixed media sculptures, designed to make people smile.
My aim is to create unique artworks, each of which tell a story that is, to a large extent, left to the imagination of the viewer. All of my work contains a striking splash of colour against a brilliant white background. I particularly enjoy the play of light with shadow.
I love seeing a smile develop when people look at my work. I try to find something to make me laugh at least once a day as this stops me from taking myself too seriously. This, in turn, influences my work.
