I have been a member of Horsham Artists since I started painting in 2008. It provided me with the very first opportunity to exhibit my work and become part of an artistic community. Since then, my life has been transformed as I have been able to follow my passion for painting, develop my knowledge and hone my skills.
Inspiration for my work emanates from the sheer spontaneity and exuberance of painting and drawing with Watercolour and inks. Their unpredictable nature, fabulous intense luminosity and vibrancy create an alchemy which both, excites and challenges me! I love using bold energetic washes to express emotion in colour.
My semi abstract landscapes are inspired by the colours and textures reflected in nature around me.
I aim to evoke an atmosphere and sense of place in my signature style and always in glorious, vivid colour whatever the subject or theme.
I am also proud to be a member of Chalk Gallery Lewes where my work is available in the gallery or online.
I exhibit as a member of the Association of Sussex Artists each year, in Brighton Artists Open Houses and other morning venues across Sussex.
I have original paintings, Giclee prints, cards and gift items available and offer tuition in my lovely studio for those wishing to learn how to paint with Watercolour and inks. More information upon request.
