Maggie Knight

Maggie was born in England, did ‘A’ level Art, trained as a nurse, married then lived much of her adult life overseas, USA, India and Bermuda but she never stopped painting even when the baby crawled all over her latest attempt! After years of studying at evening classes and workshops, experimenting with water colour and acrylic, she then tried oil, a medium she now loves and with which she has enjoyed considerable success in exhibitions and galleries.

After a spell in Scotland, then Somerset she now lives in West Sussex – quite different but all with wonderful landscapes to inspire and paint. She also enjoys still-life especially floral and fruit subjects.

Wire Sculpture is another medium Maggie explores from time to time, creating mostly stylised animals and birds.
