I started painting and drawing only 8 years ago – in my 60s.
I have found most success using pencil or charcoal, and pastel pencils, concentrating on animals, birds and flowers. I love the medium and the opportunity it gives to accurately depict feathers, fur and texture.
In addition to the above I have also drawn a series of Christmas cards in pen – an opportunity to offer some ‘tongue in cheek’ sketches.
