For as long as I can remember I have had a love affair with paint!
My passion for painting has always been in the process. I prepare the canvas with layers of collage, plaster and paint to create a textured surface to work on.
The painting emerges from the background with coatings of colour that can be added to and scraped away to reveal the layers underneath.
I predominantly use acrylic paint as I like to work fast, I’m a little impatient and can’t wait to start the next layer of the painting.
