Looking at things from all sides, coming up with constant surprises, I have avoided being too formulaic in both painting and sculpture.
Art school trained, I qualified with a BA. I have also taught painting in both the UK and South Africa, exhibiting my work mainly in Cape Town and I have sold work to many countries around the world. It was though the countryside and seascapes surrounding the city where I found most inspiration.
Abstraction derived from nature is central to my work, both in painting and sculpture.
